New Webshop Additions: June 2015
A few very worthy highlights in this webshop update including the classic 1999 Worship album rerelease "Last CD Before Doomsday" (previously Last Tape Before Doomsday) as well as essential Funeral Doom albums from Profetus, Ataraxie, Funeralium, and Funeral Moth from the high-quality acclaimed Japenese Funeral Doom label Weird Truth Productions!
Also added to the shop is some crushing Australian Black Metal from Erebus Enthroned, and the latest album from Pestilential Shadows entitled "Ephemeral." , as well as Graveborne from Finland - all courtesy of Seance Records.
We've also brought in some new releases from the Indian label Transcending Obscurity, who has released interesting material from The Dead, and The Whorehouse Massacre, but our favourite release from them is the split double-album of doom from Dormant Inferno from India and Dionysus from Pakistan!
We also added Lycanthia's 2006 EP release (preceding the "Oligarchy" release), and new albums from Maa Productions / Hidden Marly Productions!

Shipping is calculated by weight. Canada Post has shipping increases at 250g, 500g, and 1kg.

Altars of Grief Music Videos and News
The next release on Hypnotic Dirge and our primary focus this summer is something quite special to us.
We are working with two local bands - Post-Black Metal band Nachtterror and Blackened Doom Metal Altars of Grief to release a special limited edition 10" split vinyl entitled "Of Ash and Dying Light"

The record will be available this summer (July or August, awaiting vinyl confirmation) and strictly limited to only 100 copies through the HDR webshop. Song premieres and pre-orders are coming later this month so keep an eye out for news and updates.
For the time being though, I'd like to introduce those who might be unfamiliar with Altars of Grief with a couple of music videos they've released from their debut album "This Shameful Burden" (Available here)
Last June, Altars of Grief released the music video for the track "Only Our Scars" and this month they've released their second video from the album, this time for the track "The Plague that Haunts the Darkness"
Both videos were filmed, directed, and edited by the band's guitarist Erik Labossiere through his film project "Wikked Twist Films", and both are well-made videos with attention to detail that transcends the typical underground metal music video. If you like Altars of Grief and their music videos, share!
You can of course expect more video media from Altars of Grief in the months to come!
Hypnotic Dirge Records releases are available on Bandcamp for streaming and unrestricted digital download for free / by-donation.
All donations go towards physical releases and other label expenses
Our philosophy is rooted in the principle of open-source and unlimited access!
