Sunwalter - Forbidden Sun (single 2013)

Les russes de Sunwalter ont mis en ligne en streaming et en téléchargement gratuit le single Forbidden Sun. Le groupe évolue dans un registre de metal extrême rendu plus accessible par le chant clair de la chanteuse Shikhandi qui se fraie un chemin parmi le chant "harsh" de Alexio. Dans l'ensemble ce single est plutôt intéressant. Le premier titre "Forbidden Sun" parle de la place que chacun a dans ce monde et même face aux adversités il invite à jamais lâcher prise et à suivre sa propre voie. Ce titre qui comporte un riff plutôt en mid tempo est rehaussé par un break plus extrême où la double pédale et la voix 'harsh' donnent une connotation plus forte et violente à l'ensemble. Le deuxième titre est la cover de E.T. un morceau de Katy Perry. Là résultat est bluffant : les deux voix sont parfaites et l'aspect metal du titre le rend accrocheur à souhait. Cet E.T. est simplement imparable et vous fera taper du pied.

Ctulu - nouvel album "Nachtwind"

Le groupe Ctulu vient de sortir son album Nachtwind. Voici les détails:

Lovecraftian black metal act Ctulu have just released their first ever music video to the track “Nachtwind”. The song is originally on their second full-length Sarkomand, however, this music video is a special version of the song; an acoustic one. Yes, black metal goes acoustic! The video was filmed with Harddrive Media in Hamburg and on the shores of the Baltic in Kiel. The black metallers have teamed up with Canada’s PureGrainAudio.com for an exclusive premiere.

The band will re-release their third full-length Seelenspiegelsplitter via Black Blood Records on October 4^th. Additionally, Roman Szymura, who is known for his work in AEBA, has joined Ctulu as their permanent drummer.

Le premier album de Circle of Illusion vient de sortir. Il se nomme Jeremias - Foreshadow of Forgotten Realms et il s'agit d'un concept album de bien 80 minutes au compteur. Voici les détails:

In 2006 the keyboarder, arranger and composer Gerald Peter produced the demo record „Closing Doors“ with which his vision of a progressive rock-concept album and musical was born. With „Closing Doors“ as his point of departure he has been working on the concept-album “Jeremias - Foreshadow of Forgotten Realms“ since 2008. In 2010 he met the singer and writer Taris Brown with whom he worked on a solid story. A year later, in 2011, he founded the band “Circle of Illusion” with top musicians in order to perform his opus live and to finish the recordings of the album.
