Humanoids: The Biography
There is no doubt: Humanoids are one of the best Swiss livebands. Or with the words of influential national Swiss radio Virus: «Humanoids are the coolest pigs in rockmusic!». Twelve years on the circuit, Humanoids have been proving their stage-power supporting bands such as Young Gods, Therapy?, Amplifier or Mother Tongue. Now their bursting energy can be heard as well on new single «Tote Bag». «Tote Bag» is a five-minute-rock-stomper with great melodies, blessed with the spirit of Queens of The Stone Age and The Black Keys, served with the groove of Triggerfinger. But the band's real benchmark is the deep dark voice, singing about insanity, society and Zeitgeist. «Tote Bag» markes an important new direction for the band's sound: more simple, groove-orientated and served with a lot of Rock'n'Roll. More like this can be heard on their new album (out 2015).
