Les canadiens de Gypsy Chief Goliath (stoner) sortiront leur nouvel album New Machines of the Night le 08 octobre dernier via Pitch Black Records.

Known globally as a stoner metal band, Canadians GYPSY CHIEF GOLIATH incorporate three guitar players and a harmonica player giving them a blues edge to their heavy groove. Thin Lizzy meets Black Sabbath, with subtle elements of modern heavy metal here and there, this is a “heavy blues” band that wavers on the edge of metal, stoner, doom and classic rock.
GYPSY CHIEF GOLIATH have achieved a lot in their tenure as a band, they have toured extensively for many years and they have acquired a large fan base. Handling the reins of GCG is quite possibly one of Canada’s hardest working musicians; Al the Yeti Bones, who has previously worked with bands such as The Mighty Nimbus, Georgian Skull and Mister Bones. Al had this to say in regards to working with Pitch Black Records:
“We’re really excited to be setting in stone the future roots of GCG with Pitch Black. They’re a badass record label who have an extremely great work ethic that I admire a lot. We’re all huge fans of the European metal scene and I just knew this label was going to be home when we first made contact. We’ve worked really hard on a new album called New Machines of the Night and it was recorded straight to analogue and we can’t wait to unleash it on the world through Pitch Black Records.”
“New Machines of the Night” is the band’s second studio album and it’s due for release worldwide on October 8th, 2013 on CD and digital.

Symbolisme   de l’insert de Behemoth – The Satanist (2014) Troisième partie : le symbole alchimique Le groupe de metal extr ê me Behemoth a sorti son album The Satanist en 2014 via Nuclear Bast. Le cd contient un insert realisé par Valnoir de Metastazis . Pour insert on entend dans le packaging de l’industrie musicale quelque chose que l’on rajoute à l’intérieur du package, ceci peut être un autocollant, un papier qui reporte des infos complémentaires sur l’album, le groupe, la maison de disques, voir une liste des autres albums disponible via la même maison de disques. Dans le cas de The Satanist l’insert présente d’un côté, le recto, le logo du groupe et le titre de l’album, de l’autre côté, le verso, un symbole. Le fond est noir et le texte / dessin est doré. Obitus - Slaves of the Vast Machine (2017) Hypnotic Dirge Records / co-released with Black Plague Records   Anders Ahlbäck (instruments) Obitus est un duo suédois de black metal, actif depuis 2000 et formé par Anders Ahlbäck (instruments) et Johan Huldtgren (vocals). Obitus est un mot latin qui signifie « mort ». Le duo a sorti son premier album The March of the Drones en 2009 via Eerie Art Records et Slaves of the Vast Machine se présente donc comme son dernier effort. Même si le duo est actif depuis 2000 sa discographie entre split et démos n’est pas énorme et elle est plutôt gage de qualité. On aimerait juste souligner le beau split réalisé en 2014 sorti via Dissension Records et qui se nomme Elemental Nightmares – IV . Ce split réunit les groupes Obitus / Canopy / Harasai / Kall et il est épuisé, oui et non. Oui si on veut s’acheter ce vinyle. Non si on veut s’acheter la totalité de la série Elemental Nightmares qui se compose de 7 vinyles au total
