Kaotoxin, in cooperation with VS-Webzine, is
very proud to announce the full streaming of WE ALL DIE (laughing)'s debut
full-length, "Thoughtscanning" which is gonna be released worldwide
on January 14th as a 1.000 copies limited edition first press deluxe digi-CD
featuring a bonus cover version of Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black".
The band, made of vocalist-extraordinaire Arno Strobl (Carnival In Coal, 6:33) and multi-talented instrumentist and gifted song-writed Déhà (C.O.A.G, Maladie), has inked a multi-album deal with Kaotoxin resulting in this first full-length, a single-song (33mns) masterpiece in depression that's gonna delight fans of Progressive Extreme Metal bands such as Shining (SE), Katatonia, Ihsahn, Opeth or even Edge Of Sanity's "Crimson".
As a Kaotoxin fan, We All Die (laughing)
shouldn't be unknown to you as the duet was already guesting on Eye Of
Solitude's "The Deceit" digital EP's title track. The band, made of
vocalist-extraordinaire Arno Strobl (Carnival In Coal, 6:33) and multi-talented
instrumentist and gifted song-writed Déhà (C.O.A.G, Maladie), has inked a
multi-album deal with Kaotoxin resulting in this first full-length, a
single-song (33mns) masterpiece in depression that's gonna delight fans of
Progressive Extreme Metal bands such as Shining (SE), Katatonia, Ihsahn, Opeth
or even Edge Of Sanity's "Crimson".
An introspective downward spiral, a
roller-coaster of anguish, pain and self-hate... Say joy goodbye: We All Die
(laughing) is the mandatory drug that's gonna make sure you're erasing that
smile from your face.
Produced by El Mobo at the Conkrete studio
(Gorod, Otargos...), with artwork by sick'n'twisted artist Maxime Taccardi
(Necrophagia, Agathocles, C.O.A.G), "Thoughtscanning" is setting the
bar VERY high for challengers in the "best of 2014" competition!
But we're not forgetting the ironic fun of the
"(laughing)" in the band's monicker and are (un)happy to offer for
preorder, along the CD, a Mayhem-parodic / homage merch. line, the
"KTXN" t-shirts, girlies and hoodies.
Designed by both Maxime Taccardi and Undead
Kreation (Savage Annihilation...), the merch is a derivative work from Mayhem's
iconic "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" merch, with a Mayhem-looking
"the true WADL" logo on front and the band's "Mayhemed"
picture on the back, with "KTXN" instead of the original
"DSP".
Stream "Thoughtscanning” at VS-Webzine and
grab your preorder copy at shop.kaotoxin.com NOW and don't forget to support
Déhà's crowdfunded debut C.O.A.G single, "Sociopath", at
