[news] MIDHAVEN (India) - Spellbound (Atmospheric Metal, 2014, Universal Music)

Midhaven are a fascinating band from Mumbai, India, pushing the sound ahead like no other band from the region. Blending progressive, modern and sludgy sounds into a melancholic fabric, Midhaven are a notch above the rest. Innovative and atmospheric, Midhaven believe in life beyond death, in the mysterious lands and realms, using light but feeling music to find expression. Reminiscent of bands like MASTODON, PARADISE LOST, AMORPHIS and ANATHEMA, this band is carving its own sound while having you coming back to it for more. With each listen unravels a different texture of emotion, always heartfelt, always sincere.
