Pre-Sale: Wreck & Reference - Want

 Want is the new album by Wreck & Reference. 

California-based heavy experimental duo, Wreck and Reference have returned with their best and most distinct work, their sophomore full-length—Want. Want sees the band taking a more refined and melodic sonic direction, yet the band keeps a foot in the experimental, electronic, and post-metal genre. Mixed and mastered by Jack Shirly (Deafheaven, Whirr, Loma Prieta), Want is Wreck and Reference fully realized: undeniably nihilistic, and devastatingly addictive.

Want will be pressed on black vinyl and limited transparent "beer" colored haze vinyl. Colored vinyl is limited to 300 copies and you can only get it direct from The Flenser store. We are offering CD/Vinyl packages for a limited time. Shipping mid June.

Mamaleek "He Never Spoke a Mumblin' Word" LP

Mamaleek is an electronic black metal act from San Francisco. Mamaleek is two brothers. Their new album is titled He Never Said a Mumblin’ Word.

"Terrestrially-confined, our souls speak the indubitable, no? That there is a pre-critical station of being, before we became shackled to consciousness, slaves to our bodies, our environments, our language, our mommies and daddies, the pitiful puppets-without-strings we now are…We are left only with the symbol and its mythology. Without this, there is only a brutal formalism and woe to it! Mamaleek is a noise that traces symbols and mythos and that is good enough, Goddammit. It is a paean to a bygone bliss, our souls going home, aural restitutions and reparations, wrought by eternal return."
