RUIN - 'Spread Plague Hell' EP
Genre - Death Metal
Release Date - TODAY

Ruin has members of established
bands. The band has however decided to keep the real identities a secret. It
has decided to let the overpowering music do all the talking. That's not such a
bad idea given that the music is the foulest, darkest and sickest I've heard in
a long, long time. Bands that are redolent of the mighty cult legends Blood
(circa 'O Agios Pethane') and Infester are very hard to come by these days.
Incantation clones are preponderant but rarely you come across bands like Ruin.
The music is suffocatingly heavy, dense, dark as your enemy's soul, and
relentless like your recurring nightmare. This blends in influences of the
aforementioned underground giants, as well as Autopsy, Derketa, Abscess, Grave
Miasma, Cruciamentum, Carcass (first album) and Necros Christos. The vibe is
dank with blood and torture, the menace is drilling into your subconscious, and
you're all but on the verge of writing your last will. Music this stubbornly
potent and powerful will mangle you in ways you thought humanly impossible.
Death metal like this will impair your soul.
