One Day In Fukushima - nouvel album Ozymandias (Eclectic productions)

One Day In Fukushima naît à la fin de l'été 2014 par Fabrizio et Valerio et leur passion pour les sons extrêmes. En novembre de la même année, les deux garçons se rencontrent au studio de Kaspar House pour enregistrer quelques œuvres inédites (qui seront incluses dans la future démo). Peu de temps après, Francesco à la deuxième guitare et Vincenzo à la basse rejoignent le line-up. Le groupe reprend des sons Grindcore, mais les influences viennent d'autres genres tels que Death Metal, Punk / hc, Crust ... Le groupe participe à quelques travaux (split avec plusieurs groupes et compilations) et sort sa première démo en juin 2015, le tout accompagné d'une activité live. En septembre de la même année, Cosimo rejoint le groupe en tant que batteur, à la fois en studio et en live. En 2016, le groupe sort un soplit 7"avec Genocidal Terror (Belgique) via Zas Records et Vleesklak records, la compilation LP "Crash Mandolino 2.0 alias Italia Violenta" avec plusieurs groupes de la scène italienne (Tsubo, Neid, Ape Unit et bien d'autres) via Zas Records. En 2017, le groupe sort un CD split avec Intravenous Poison (Vito from Ultimo Mondo Cannibale) et une compilation Tribute to Terrorizer avec Misery Index, Tu Carne, Haemorrhage et bien d'autres via Mediaplan Group et RottenRoll Rex. Le groupe travaille sur de nouvelles chansons, continuant à jouer en live, partageant cependant la scène avec des noms plus ou moins connus, comme Venomous Concept, Total Chaos, MDC et Natron. Pendant l'hiver 2017/2018, le groupe a enregistré 18 chansons. Cela fera partie de leur premier album nommé Ozymandias qui sort le 28 avril via Eclectic productions.

KEVLAR SKIN (Spain) - Transmigrator (Brutal Technical Death Metal, 2014, Eclectic Productions)

Eclectic Productions is doing a commendable job unearthing great music from underground extreme metal styles, particularly in death metal and grindcore. Kevlar Skin are a fine revelation. The guys play contemporary death metal that is sufficiently technical but not devoid of hooks and also brutal enough to not sound dated. It's what the style needs - a balance of everything and in the right proportion. Death metal is hardly this well-rounded - more often than not, it falls prey to the school conventions and it's mostly at the expense of something or the other. This is an invigorating band, a fresh of breath air at least in the way the music is executed. Kevlar Skin do everything right by the death metal fan/critic book by offering a tad of innovation, forward-thinking yet old school depth of structuring and not failing to provide us with headbangable or cathartic body-flailing parts every now and then. Top notch brutal and interesting stuff.
