Les seigneurs du sludge doom du Kentucky, HIGHGATE, ont rejoint le label Horror Pain Gore Death Productions pour la sortie de leur nouvel album, *Prophecies Of Eternal Horror*.

Émergeant des collines du nord du Kentucky, HIGHGATE déchaîne un sludge doom imprégné de doom, évoquant des années de lutte et de désespoir. *Prophecies Of Eternal Horror* met en scène des cadavres s'empilant vers le ciel, tandis que HIGHGATE se débat avec les atrocités de la guerre mondiale, le fanatisme religieux et la lutte des classes.

HIGHGATE a dévoilé le premier single de l'album, « At Paranoia's Poison Door ». Ce morceau est décrit comme un cri de guerre blackened doom contre un gouvernement abusif qui cherche à nous terroriser pour nous empêcher de penser ou d'agir par nous-mêmes. Le refrain « rampez jusqu'à vos maîtres » illustre le thème de la chanson : la capacité du gouvernement à endoctriner les citoyens et à les réduire à l'état de lèche-bottes.
