FLESH HOARDER signs to Comatose Music! Debut album 'Homicidal Necrophile' coming this Spring!
From the rancid innards of central Texas, the death metal savages known as Flesh Hoarder have risen from a five year incubation to unleash their grisly debut release ‘Homicidal Necrophile’. Erupting with ferocious vocals and crushing riffs, trampled by a relentless drum assault that’s certain to decimate the weak. This album is essential with unforgiving brutality that will be celebrated by the barbaric and praised by the sick. Coming Spring 2018…
Wish you all a terrific new year! I waited till it was the right time to send out promos of this doom metal supergroup with members of acclaimed bands such as PANTHEIST, VOID OF SILENCE, APHONIC THRENODY, etc. Metal Injection premiered their first 30-min track in which the writer Cody Davis described their music as thus -
"If there was ever a group to pull off a 30-minute song as their introduction to the world, it is certainly this band. They wonderfully combine the romantic death-doom of the early Peaceville era with the glacial pace of funeral doom."

Experimental doom
metal band from UK, Camel of Doom,
release their latest album on the ever-great doom label Solitude Productions,
and as always, the quality is standard-setting. Unlike the expected
atmospheric/funeral doom of the highest quality, for a change, Camel of Doom here play a weird
but not unsettling kind of doom that's refreshing to hear - it has a spacey
quality to the whole thing, a touch of vast ambiance, progressive
experimentation and seamless passages stretching out into eternity. This has
elements of sludge, dark ambient, a bit of stoner and even atmospheric doom. The
album is a foray into the unplumbed depths of space, a unique excursion that
leaves you writhing for answers, for embedded in its drawn-out histrionics are
epiphanies the genre could benefit from. Camel of Doom
are a revelation, a band that aren't content with merely mimicking others; they
are out to change the perception, to do something beyond what is conceived to
be possible, much like a trip to outer space.
LUCID RECESS (Guwahati, India) - 'Alive and Aware' (2015)
Genre - Alternative Metal
Release Date - November 15th, 2015
Lucid
Recess continue to tantalize. Forging an ethereal sound that the band
can call their own, in the whole region, they weave fragile melodies and
unique vocal patterns, gently and ably propelled by dynamic percussion.
The songs have a purpose, leading us to a special elusive haven in
which the listeners can find solace, if only mentally. Visual appeal
which is the band's forte, goes hand-in-hand with their delicate music,
as each video gives us a refreshing glimpse into the world of Lucid
Recess - where they come from and how they make sense of it all. The
palpability is there for everyone who has seen enough in life, or will
inevitably experience. This is music representing the emotional part of
it all. Elegant, moving and fleeting.

AGAINST EVIL (India) - 'Fatal Assault' EP
Genre - Heavy Metal Release Date - Timeless
Making a debut from an unknown city for metal in India, Visakhapatnam, Against Evil has created shockwaves around the world. From being the fastest selling Indian release this year, to being critically acclaimed and loved by one and all, these guys are turning the heavy metal cliche into something enjoyable once again by incorporating subtle elements from current day genres. Every song portrays a different mood, with the vibe and inherent heavy metal essence remaining intact, as the boys passionately sing their hearts out and beat the shit out of their instruments. This is the new era of heavy metal, the veritable entry point for all metalheads, and it couldn't get better than this for a debut album, for a band from a far away city, of a far away country. Under the auspices of the internationally experienced Transcending Obscurity entity, the band has been able to reach out to lusting fans and even jaded critics from around the world, making a dent in their rigid perceptions of a genre that's all but written off in this nearly heartless 21st century.

The album of the year has probably arrived. We all know what a death metal machine Rogga Johansson is, and when his music meets the phlegmy throat of Dave Rotten, the sickness turns into an epidemic. This is the best form of death metal, bearing the old school essence with present day relevance, tempered to the right degree, permeated by the thick, deep and hoarse voice of Mr.Rotten. Words emanating from Mr.Rotten's throat probably have some tenuous, infected, hair-like texture, which would explain everything. The plagued thing is alive and twitching. And you are twitching with it. Death metal this simple, nay, clear in its vision, with such effectiveness cannot go unpraised. It's difficult to find faults with this. Crushing juggernaut heaviness meets lethal brain-latching riffs meets superbly enunciated growls from a demon possessed by some obscure ancient force. This encapsulates everything you love about death metal. Period.
