Kehlvin and Fleshworld team up to make a unique split album, titled “To Deny Everything That’s Mundane”. It will be released digitally and on 12" white 180g vinyl, as a collaboration of Division Records (CH), Unquiet Records (PL), Grains of Sand Records (RU), Dingleberry Records (DE), and Dullest Records (US).

Cover artwork was designed by Michael Ribeiro of Ghost Dagger.

The concept of the album revolves around science, various philosophical problems one encounters and dissatisfaction with certain beliefs.

It tells the story of a struggling mathematician through five, interwoven tracks (three by Kehlvin and two by Fleshworld), each regarding a different stage of the subject’s life.

A little about APOSTATE:
In the year 1993 a new force in doomed up Death/Black Metal was spawned in the darkened recesses of Ukraine. APOSTATE was born out of a desire to create something that spoke of a sorrowful, lonesome existence and to bring an all-encompassing bleakness to an unsuspecting world. Originally started out as BLACK MOON FRANKNESS before taking the name APOSTATE and would go on to release their debut demo, “Consign to Oblivion” in 1995. The same line up would then unleash the “A Song of the Dead Lake” EP in 1997 before splitting up in 1998.
However just over a decade later in 2009 and following a 2007 released compilation of old works entitled “From Consign to Oblivion to a Song of the Dead Like...” APOSTATE would be dragged kicking and screaming from the grave by Alexander Kostko (bass), the bands only ever present member. So came 2010 Kostko would see the release of APOSTATE’s debut full length album, “Trapped in a Sleep”. Now with their new line up firmly cemented APOSTATE, the oldest Ukrainian Doom Metal band, have spent their time playing across Europe and will soon unleash “Time of Terror”, their second album due for release early 2015. One-man project ZONER back with new, second album

ZONER is the one-man project of seasoned musician Antonis Demetriou based in Nicosia, Cyprus. Drawing from all of his favorite musical influences Antonis manages to convince that he is a determined, passionate and gifted songwriter and performer. All instruments and vocals, arrangements and overall production are by Antonis himself making it very clear that the result is that of pure labor of love.

In his own words, Antonis describes ZONER as “a rock/metal band with influences ranging from 'ABBA to Zappa' via all the VERY best in pop, rock, prog, punk, funk, disco, hard, heavy and thrash!”

ZONER songs cover a pretty wide musical spectrum and tend to deviate from the norm. From acoustic rock to full blown metal and anything in between, sometimes all these elements within one song, there is something for everyone. Plain and simply ZONER is an aural rewarding journey into the unknown, especially if you miss the way records used to be!

Yes, this might not be the most polished-sounding recording ever since Antonis will be the first to admit that he is not really an engineer/producer but someone that handles these tasks out of necessity. Besides, the most essential ingredient is clearly evident throughout this album – passion!

It's the '80s style thrash/punk/first wave black metal with a better production, execution and oomph value. We're looking at the early works of SODOM, BATHORY, VENOM, HELLHAMMER and IMPALED NAZARENE, even BLASPHEMY, but that's really not enough because it's concocted with a vital dose of lethality and sharpness of the current standards.  Pure old school death metal project featuring underground DM master Rogga Johansson on guitars and bass (PAGANIZER / RIBSPREADER, The Grotesquery) and true extreme metal legend Paul Speckmann on vocals (MASTER, DEATH STRIKE, ABOMINATION). This unique cooperation  resulted in nine PURE OLD SCHOOL death metal tracks. DEAD END – Forever is not Eternal (2015) Vic Records

  

DEAD END was formed in 1988 by Micha (vocals / bass), Eef (lead guitars), Jeroen (rhythm guitar) and drummer Gunther. They recorded a demo in called ‘Tales (from the Real Life)’ in 1991. After the debut demo Alwin joined on bass and Micha focused on his vocals. They recorded their second demo ‘Purity’ in 1992. Dead End became rather popular in the Dutch Underground scene and played many gigs with Gorefest, Pestilence, Pentacle, Phlebotomized and such.  In 1993 DEAD END recorded 3 racks for the ‘Wartime in Eden’ 7” e.p. One track from the same session ended up on one of the legendary D.S.F.A compilation albums (Volume 5 ‘Ressurection of Reality’). For unknown reasons the band  split up rather shortly after the ‘Wartime in Eden’ release. After the re-issues of Morthra and Pentacle albums (the 3 bands were very close, shared members and rehearsed / played a lot together back in the days), vic records now releases the compilation CD by Dead End named ‘For Ever is Not Eternal. The CD contains all demos / e.p. and several live tracks. All 15 tracks are re-mastered by Robin Cornelissen (a.o. Morthra and Pentacle re-masters).

By the end of 2014 DEAD END reformed and will play / write new songs!

 

MANGLED – Through Ancient Times (death metal 2015)

Mangled was one of the first Dutch death metal bands. Formed in 1989 and split up in 2006. MANGLED released 3 full length albums, 2 demos and 2 e.p.’s. Guitar player Harold Gielen plays in Legion of the Damned now a days.

The Double CD ‘Through Ancient Times’ consists all of Mangled works from their earliest period: ‘Cadaverous’ demo 1992, ‘Perish’ demo 1993, ‘…in Emptiness’ e.p. 1996, debut full length album ‘Ancient Times’ 1998, and the ‘Carnal Abhorrence’ e.p. from 2004. And of course some exclusive radio edits, live and pre production tracks. In total 32 songs of one of Holland’s finest yet obscure death metal bands. All tracks are re-mastered at Toneshed Recording Studio by Erwin Hermsen. The booklet contains many rare pictures, posters, flyers and liner notes.

This promo contains a selection of the double CD: the debut full lengt album 'Ancient Times' from 1998 (track 1 - 10) and the Perished demo 1993 (also on Mini CD released by Wild Rages in 1995, promo tracks 11 - 16). The entire double CD contains 32 tracks.
