Voici une première partie qui regroupe trois live mythiques. Il y aura aussi d'autres parties avec d'autres groupes mais pas non plus des tonnes. Soit c'est mythique soit ce ne l'est pas.

Ensuite voici une courte vidéo sur des considérations sur le côté live c'est à dire qu'est ce que un live pour un artiste et un fan? Et quel est l'intérêt pour un artiste de publier un live et pour le fan de l'acheter / écouter?

En 2015 Blind Guardian a sorti un concept album nommé Beyond the Red Mirror. Le label a sorti l’album sous plusieurs formats dont la plupart était amputée de la totalité de l’album. Pour l’écouter dans son intégralité, le fan était largué.

Avec le monde devenant un endroit plus sombre jour après jour, nous avons besoin de plus de groupes de métal qui traitent de l'évasion réaliste; c'est l'évasion qui tire des événements dans le monde réel (voir plus loin le 'Héros aux mille visages' de Joseph Campbell) et aide les auditeurs à faire face héroïquement à leurs propres batailles quotidiennes. L'équivalent sonore du travail de George R.R. Martin! En effet, le groupe de death metal progressif VALYRIA tire son nom des œuvres de Martin.

Comme le groupe l'explique. "Valyria est une ville en ruine dans le monde d'Essos, le monde dans lequel a lieu" Un chant de feu et de glace "de George R.R. Martin. Valyria est une ville d'émerveillement, de magie et de pouvoir incalculable. L'esthétique que Martin crée dans ses romans est une atmosphère similaire à celle que nous, en tant que groupe, essayons d'évoquer avec notre musique. "

Influencé par Wintersun, The Faceless, Dragonforce, Blind Guardian et Omnium Gatherum, VALYRIA décrit leur son comme "dramatique, complexe, édifiant, émotionnel, technique" quelque chose que leurs fans pourront entendre sur leur nouvel EP "Into The Dying of Time", qui comprend des classiques tels que «Steel Inquisition», «Tome of The Shattered Vessels», «Of Sky and Sea», «The Crossing» et «Floating World».

"The Crossing est l'exemple le plus succinct de notre son - à parts égales de djent, death et power metal, avec même une petite pointe de skate punk. Cette chanson est remplie de mélodies de clavier et de guitare scintillantes, de bruits brutaux et d'harmonies vocales. "The Crossing" est basé sur le roman de Haruki Murakami "La Fin des temps", une odyssée cyberpunk existentielle qui voit notre protagoniste se confronter et traverser sa propre disparition et vivre dans le monde des rêves".

Buck Tow Truck is a one-man band from Woodstock, Ontario, Canada, founded by Andrew Dona. Dona's influences are "Van Halen," "Dokken" (more specifically George Lynch) and "Bathory." The name for the band was conceived by combining a typical 80's tough guy name "Buck" with what George Carlin considered to be a man's word. To him, man words have 2 syllables such as shotgun or tow-truck. While saying these words be sure to pump one's fist forward and back in a horizontal line as if cocking a shotgun, as George did.

“The art was based off an idea I had pitched to have giant statues of god-like figures in an astral plain,” explains Danny. “Our bassist, Moises, took the idea and created the drawings you’ve seen so far. The characters are all based on warriors and mythical beings, which represent themes of courage, heroism, strength and virtue. These are characteristics and themes of the overall album. That along with a cosmic decor.”

Recently Novareign was a finalist in the battle to get a spot on this year’s Knotfest Meets Ozzfest, and in January they will support White Wizzard on a run of U.S. dates.

"J'ai composé cette chanson en 1997 et je n'ai jamais eu le "courage" de la publier puisque ceci avait un sens très personne. Il me semblait l'un de ces titres destinés à rester toujours dans un tiroir... Il y a tros ans j'ai pensé insérer ce titre dans mon album Arcandia, mais j'ai réalisé qu'il s'agissait d'un album entièrement instrumental et alors j'ai changé d'avis. J'ai toujours adoré la voix de Lione et le groupe Rhapsody ont été depuis toujours ma plus grande source d'inspiration, alors j'ai pensé que j'aurais publié ce titre seulement si c'était Lione à le chanter. Parce que sa voix est la seule qui puisse rendre justice à ce titre. Voici alors pourquoi tant d'attente. Maintenant le moment est venu de la partager avec tout le monde".

Un mot sur l'auter

Fan de metal depuis l’achat de la cassette de Testament Practice What You Preach (1989). En 1991 réalise avec son groupe metal une démo. Il joue de la guitare électrique en amateur. Depuis 2009 collabore, comme archiviste, au site metal Heavylaw.com. Il a créé le blog metallifer.blogspot.fr en 2011 qui s’occupe de metal extrême. Il a créé le fanzine Wanderer's Lighthouse axé sur le metal extrême underground.
